Attempting to understand the right wing mind

If The Matrix were a right wing film then the agents would of been good guys. Like when Agent Smith says "Have you ever stood and stared at it, marveled at it's beauty.. etc" It's that oddly optimistic, desperate notion that the direction we are headed in has the potential to not be a complete and utter disaster... that money will find a way home. It's the weird twisted idea that all the wars, pollution, packaging, pre-meditated pain, propaganda, and manipulations of the masses are necessary for social progress. For human evolution. It's a belief that keeps knocking at your door with age with the intention that you will eventually let it come in for a warm cup of coffee.
